Actually, it is a commodity that is traded on the world market. There are many uses for it in manufacturing, including vulcanization. Sulfur is not being dumped in landfills as an over abundance. Where'd you hear that?

Gas prices nay have bottomed out but NOT because it is rigged, but because it is expected that the public will increase demand due to summer vacations. If demand does not increase and the supply holds up then prices will not go up.
